וְלָקַ֣ח אֶת־כָּל־הַזָּהָב־וְ֠הַכֶּסֶף וְאֵ֨ת כָּל־הַכֵּלִ֜ים הַנִּמְצְאִ֣ים בֵּית־יְהוָ֗ה וּבְאֹֽצְרוֹת֙ בֵּ֣ית הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ וְאֵ֖ת בְּנֵ֣י הַתַּֽעֲרֻב֑וֹת וַיָּ֖שָׁב שֹׁמְרֽוֹנָה׃

E tomou todo o ouro e toda a prata, e todos os utensílios que se acharam na casa do SENHOR, e no tesouros da casa do rei, os reféns também, e voltaram para Samaria.

Rashi on II Kings

And the children [held] hostage. The children of the princes, who were placed in the king’s palace as security that their fathers would not rebel against him. And so did [Targum] Yonoson render, “ the children of the princes.”
